Make your article open access in hybrid journals
Most of ICRP's journals offer a hybrid open-access publishing, allowing you to publish openly in your journal of choice.
Benefits
|
How to select open access
Once your article is accepted, the corresponding author will be notified with Open access and article processing charges. Once your payment is complete, your article will be made open access immediately upon publication. The open access icon and Creative Commons license signal to readers that the content is freely available to read, download and share.
Publication Fee
Hybrid OA Price List | With hybrid open access, the author, institution or funder pays an Article Publication Charge (APC) for the article to be open access – making it immediately and freely available to everyone. APC amounts vary by journal. |
Open Access Funds – Payments Made Easy
The good news is your funder or institution may be willing to cover this charge for you.
With ICRP Open Access Accounts, APCs may be covered in full or part for affiliated authors publishing in ICRP's journals fully open-access journals or in a hybrid journal (subscription journal which offers open access).

*If the article is: 1) funded by an NIH funding institute, or 2) published as open access and funded by a PMC partner or Europe PMC funder, or 3) published open access in a MEDLINE-indexed journal, or 4) published in a Journal with a Full Participation Agreement with PMC; the final published version1 will become freely available on PMC/Europe PMC, the full-text archive of scientific literature in the biomedical and life sciences.
1 For NIH-funded articles that are not published open access, the author's manuscript will be deposited in PMC, rather than the final published version.
