Appeals and Complaints
Policy and Process
Authors may file complaints or appeals regarding the following issues.
-Editorial decisions
-About the failure of the process
-A long delay in handling papers
-About publication ethics
-About the policy
On the first hand, all complaints will be handled by the editor-in-chief or managing editor. If they are unable to be reached, the author can contact in-house publishing via publications @icrp.org.uk. The editor-in-chief or an in-house contact will look into the matter and provide appropriate feedback. The complaints about the publication's ethics will be handled through the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics. ICRP or in-house, is not yet a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics, but ICRP completely follows the COPE standard.
