Open Access Agreements

At ICRP, we aim to maximize the impact of scientific research through openness and global collaboration. ICRP Open Access Accounts will help institutions and funders cover all or part of the Article Processing Charges (APCs) for affiliated authors, ensuring compliance with open access policies.

Benefits of ICRP Open Access Accounts

Institutions and funders may cover article publication charges in full or in part for affiliated authors publishing their article open access in either a fully gold open access journal. Discounts on the founding fee may be available as per the agreement.

How to Publish under the funding 

Institutions and funders that hold an ICRP Open Access Account or have an agreement in place can cover all or part of the article publication charges for affiliated authors who publish in a fully gold open access journal. When submitting their work, the author must provide details of the funding they have received, including the name of the funding body. The editorial office will verify the institution or funder's name on our Open Access agreement list and inform the author accordingly. If the author's funder is not under the Open Access agreement, the author must notify their funding body about the agreement with ICRP and encourage them to make an agreement. Once an agreement is reached, the funder's name will be added to the website for future authors to reference. 

The names of institutions or funding bodies will appear below.

Support for Low-income Countries

ICRP offers discounts to corresponding authors based in low- and lower-middle-income countries for authors publishing in ICRP's fully gold open-access journals.
